Michael Spremulli (00:26):
Hello, Julia. Marie, thank you again. It's always a pleasure to be back to talk about the cosmic weather in the sky. And you're right, March was a pretty intense month, but in a good way, and that's paving the way for all sorts of stuff to unfold in April. So as always, lemme do just a little bit of overlap just to kind of catch everyone up. If they didn't listen to last month's episode, big stuff happened in March previously, of course, we had the lunar eclipse on March 14th, which was in Virgo, and I think we talked about that a bit last month, which is kind of paving the way for us to let go of whatever it is that we've been self-critical of. So hopefully you had an opportunity to do that. Now, most recently we had a new moon solar eclipse in Aries on March 29th.
(01:21)
So let's talk about that because that energy is still alive and well and will be. So just a little refresh. Whenever there are eclipses, be they solar or lunar, the energy from them tends to linger much more than just a traditional new or full moon. So keep that in mind. I like to think of eclipses as turbocharged lunar events. So the bell rings longer. So we're looking at this solar eclipse in Aries that happen on the 29th. So what does that all about? Well, if we look at the cycle of the zodiac and remember the signs kind of tell the story, and if we walk down that path, we can start to see how things come together for us. So with this under New Moon is when we plant our intentions, our seeds, both literally and figuratively. This is the time when we put our desires, intentions, and plans out into the universe.
(02:20)
We harvest them on a full moon. So it's happening in Aries. So Aries is the I am of the Zodiac, who you are as a person, which is kind of cool because we had all this time from last month where Virgo was stirring things up where it's like, well, what am I hanging onto that might not be serving me all that well? What self-critical behaviors do I need to get rid of? So now we're at Aries. The Zodiac starts at Aries, it's March 20th, the Equinox is when the Zodiac begins, and then it goes all the way through Pisces. So with this new moon happening in Aries, some major themes that you can expect is almost like a rebirth or a shifting of your identity. It marks, as I said, the new astrological year and it starts us on the path of transition. So this is the time for us to be thinking about, alright, what am I doing differently now?
(03:28)
I mean we talk about planting seeds every month of course, because every month is a new moon and that plays out differently depending on what sign we're in. But because it's in Aries, this is like, alright, you want to make some major changes. If you cleaned up all the stuff that's been accumulating and you release the Overcritical behaviors that could be associated with Virgo, this is a time to basically step into that new situation, a new way of interacting with people, a new way of approaching your career, new type of structure. We know that Pluto is gone out of Capricorn, that old structure's gone. So we're having to create something new.
(04:16)
At this point, this is the time to start figuring what is the real truth. Because remember in vibrational astrology, the definitions of the signs are slightly different. Aries seeks brutal honesty. During this new moon, you could be experiencing this feeling of what's the real deal here? What's really going on? Good, bad or ugly? Doesn't matter as long as you know what that real deal is, and that's the energy that's associated with Aries. So you might have had some plans or ideas that you were going to go down a particular path and then this s energy hits and so well that may sound good, but here's the real truth. Here's a practical example, and sadly I hear this one. More often than not, people say, I want to start a restaurant. Now I have a family member who's in the restaurant business, and it is not for the faint of heart.
(05:11)
Just because you can cook in your kitchen does not mean you should go and start a restaurant. So this Aries energy might say, oh, you want to go start a restaurant, huh? Why? Well, I like to cook. Great, well, how are you at bookkeeping? Not so good. How are you at plumbing? Not so good. How are you at dealing with conflict and hiring people not so good. So this Aries energy can surface everything that is related to whatever it is that you might have plans and give you that honest, brutal truth so that you then at least can go in without blinders, traditional astrology labels, areas as moving ahead and ramming their way through and all this sort of stuff. But really it's like, let's just get to the there, what is really happening? So it prompts us during this new moon to really review, alright, we got a new plan, we want to head in this direction.
(06:10)
That's cool. Is it realistic? And I'm not talking about not looking for the positive. You just don't want to be a Pollyanna because using that restaurant example, again, you may cook the best enchiladas in town, but if you don't know the mechanics or you don't plan on hiring someone to handle the mechanics of a restaurant, you're going to be heading for a bit of a rocky ride. So again, this eclipse energy, and this is a partial solar eclipse. I'm not going to see much of it here in the us. I don't believe I looked at the map a couple of weeks ago, but I don't think we're going to see it. But that doesn't matter because it affects everything regardless. And that's on March 29th. So that energy is going to linger for quite some time. So the whole month of April can be this time of figuring out what's real versus maybe what's not so real.
(07:07)
So now we have a full moon, of course, full moon in April on the 12th at 8:22 PM in the sign of Libra. So there's one thing you can know if you know nothing else about astrology, every month you get a new moon and a full moon. Some months you get lucky and may get a bonus one thrown in there. But we always have that to work with. So Libra of course, is this whole idea of you and me, yin and yang. It's the balance. Yes, the scales of balance are represented in Libra, but more importantly what the VA research is indicated is it's like it's two people playing catch. I throw the ball to you, you throw the ball back to me, I ask you a question, you answer me with whatever your response is. If I give you a gift, Libras are going to want to wait to hear back to say, well, how'd you like the gift?
(08:03)
So it's this back and forth energy, much like on a seesaw where if one person decides not to push off the ground, the other person's stuck in the air. So that is the energy that's going to be culminating on April 12th. Now the interesting thing about this new moon is it has a flavor of emotional healing associated with it because the sun is actually going to be conjunct with Chiron. Now, you don't hear me talk about Chiron all that often, but Chiron is important because Chiron is that wounded healer. In other words, where Chiron shows up in our chart, it could show us what we have maybe gone through and navigated and painful experiences that we've gone through. But then at the same time, we build on that pain so that we're able to then move forward and through it.
(09:00)
When Chiron is involved in a new or full moon process, it gives us the opportunity to move past emotional traumas that may have been lingering around for a long, long time. Because remember, full moons are about releasing, so expect a little bit more emotionality around that April 12th full moon in Libra, and it's at 20 Libra. I'm not sure if I mentioned the degree before because especially if you've got something that's been going on through your entire life, some real deep seated emotions, it doesn't even have to be full-blown trauma, but this can be an opportune time to finally say, alright, I can let go of that. I am not defined by that traumatic or negative experience. And Chiron then ushers in the energy to cleanse that, release it, move beyond it, and ultimately enabling you to see that experience for what it was, which certainly was potentially painful at the time, but there's a lot of knowledge that could come out of our pain.
(10:20)
So the other thing to note about this full moon is this is coming after a bunch of retrogrades. We've got March and retro March and retrograde Mars and retrograde until the seventh, and we're going to talk about that. We had Venus in retrograde, we had Mars and retrograde that just got out in early March. So this full moon is like, alright, we've done a bunch of rethinking and reexamining because a retrograde with any planet slows us down to look at that energy releasing the old wounds under the full moon in April. Now it's go time. It's like all of this energy up till this point for the beginning couple of months of the year has been the cleanup crew coming in to say, all right, well we got to get rid of this. We need to polish this up. Don't move ahead so fast with energy right now and make something happen.
(11:17)
Especially when Mars was retrograde. It's like you're getting all your rockets on the launch pad and this full moon then releases all the things that are holding us back, enabling us then to finally move forward. And remember you had the new moon in Aries on March 29th. So you can see how all these little things start to kind of line up getting us ready to take some bold action. So again, full moon, April 12th, 2020 5, 8 20 2:00 PM at 20 Libra. Alright, one more moon thing, and then we can get off the moon and then into some other things and obviously some vibrations. There's a new moon at the end of April. April 27th, 2025 at 3:30 PM and that is at seven degrees of Taurus. So remember new moons, here's where we start to plant some seeds. Now, Taurus, NVA, it's not really about eating bon bonds and sitting there on your couch, luxuriating and hanging out.
(12:27)
Taurus is about letting things unfold naturally. It's going with the flow. So the thing you want to be doing around April 27th is kind of figure out, and I recommend doing this sort like a week before, just to kind of get into the flow, literally what feels right for you? Does it feel right to embark upon this change that you've been thinking about making? Change could be anything, could be relationship where you work, where you live. It could be hundreds of different things, but what is the flow that is calling you to step into it? Because when the new moon happens in Taurus, it's like, okay, you got all these ideas. We have all these things that we have been considering, but where does it just feel right? Where does it flow naturally? And that's exactly what this new moon on April 27th brings us. It steps us into the flow.
(13:29)
Aries is like, all right, here I am, here's what I want to do, ready to go, boop, boop, boop. And then Taurus shows up and says, that's cool, but you don't want to be in there like a maniac running around with 50 projects simultaneously and nothing getting done. Where do we need to put the flow? One client I was speaking to last week, they've been scrambling to actually put together a course or a training program, but they were also distracted by doing a whole bunch of social media and then doing some other type of marketing and a whole bunch of other things that are obviously important. But their main flow is, I really just keep getting drawn back to this course. Well then do the course, let the other stuff sit for a little bit. So that's what this new moon is all about on the 27th.
(14:19)
Seventh Taurus. Really good time to just be aware and if you happen to be in a situation, because I've been there and I imagine you've been there too, where it's like flow, what flow? There is no flow. I feel stuck. I feel like I'm in a river bed with no water. The worst thing you can do is force the flow because that's not going to make it happen. So you just sit back and watch and all right, well no flow today. Let's see what happens when you let go of it a little bit. That's what frees things up. It's almost like the situation where you're thinking of someone's name but you can't remember it. And then the harder you try to think of it, the harder you try, the worse it gets, the more you chase it, that memory or the name of the person gets blocked.
(15:08)
But as soon as you forget about it and start thinking about, what am I going to have for lunch today? Ooh, the memory pops in, the name is in and you're up and running. Same thing with this type of energy. If you're not feeling flow, it's like, okay, no flow. Let it come to you. Alright, so couple of other things to note here before we get into the vibrational area of the forecast. And that is Mercury has been retrograde since March, and now it is going direct on April 7th at 26 degrees Pisces. So remember, it's not all doom and gloom when any planet goes retrograde, especially Mercury. But here's what I think this is telling us just from a message, it's like, alright, it has been dancing around there. I think it danced into Aries for a little bit and now it's back into Pisces and that's where it's going to emerge.
(16:13)
It's giving us the thoughts and pulling everything together so that we can then start our next phase. Because Pisces is everything. It brings everything together by dissolving borders, it's eclectic. If I had to pick a word for Pisces, it's eclectic, it's here and now, and tomorrow and yesterday, it's the whole nine yards wrapped into one. So with Mercury now going direct in Pisces, it could give us that idea of, ah, now I see the structure I need to head in because if we've taken time during the retrograde to maybe reexamine and think things through and see what's going on, we're able to then figure out what the next step is going to be. And because we have this pi and energy that Mercury is now landing direct in, it's almost like it gives us the blueprint. We still have to go implement it, but now things start to become clear as opposed to just everything being on the table at once.
(17:20)
It's sort of like if you open your junk drawer, it's like, oh wow, there's a whole bunch of stuff in there, some good stuff, some junk, some old rubber bands, sugar packets and what have you. But if that junk drawer gets reorganized and you throw out the stuff that's not needed and then you lean into the things that are needed, your pens, your scissors, the receipt from the Uber Eats that you ordered or what have you, you can then do something with it. So that's what I think this Mercury direct is signifying. And again, that's on April 7th at 26 degrees of Pisces. We're still not done with planets going direct. Venus is also going direct on April 12th. Now, Venus has been retrograde since, let me look at my chart, my notes here. Venus has been retrograde since March one. It was in Aries at the time.
(18:16)
It is emerging now in Pisces. So you notice how you've got multiple planets going retrograde, but they're also in the same sign. So it's like something's trying to get communicated here. So Venus of course regulates what we're attracted to. It's attraction to beauty. Yes, of course that can mean romance, but it can mean where you live. It can mean how you have your space organized. It can mean being attracted to literature, art, music, any of those types of things. So with Venus being direct or becoming direct, going direct on the 12th, it's somewhat of a turning point because if you've been doing your Venus homework since March, asking yourself, what am I attracted to now? And that changes throughout our life. I'm not attracted to the same things that I was 20, 30 years ago, they're just not as important. Your sense of beauty can change right now.
(19:16)
I'm very attracted to being home on a Friday night and just chilling out, sitting there watching a movie with my wife. That wasn't the case if you rewind 30 years ago. So with Venus going direct on April 12th, and if you want to go back into traditional astrology, Venus rules, Libra, which is this whole balance yin and yang type of thing, it's a big deal because it gives us this forward momentum from the idea of being able to take some action on what we've been thinking about. So now it's April, March was almost like the launch pad month, and in April you hit the ignition key so that you can start doing this stuff because we've got a bunch of planets now that have been in contemplation, a retrograde mode that are now going direct, and it's time for us to start moving and take action on what's been reviewed and what we've gone over since the early time in March.
(20:23)
So that's why I like doing these with you every month because if you implement what's happening this month that sets you up for the next month, but not to fear, jump in wherever you find this. I don't want you to think all is lost. It's like, well, I didn't do my homework in March. Oh, that's okay, just jump in right now. The cosmos is a carnival ride that never stops. So you don't have that opportunity for things to come to a complete standstill for you to say, all right, now let's get into the car and pull the safety buffer. Now you just jump in. So that's kind of cool that all these planets, you got Mercury, you got Venus, Mars went direct. So three planets within a month's timeframe where we've been in analysis or contemplation mode where it is time to move and go.
(21:11)
Alright, so now as always, no forecast would be complete without us talking about a couple of vibrations. And it was interesting for March, for April rather because as I was pulling these up, there aren't many high level vibrations that are active for an extenuating period of time. We got a couple here for three days or six days. The sixth vibration is active for five days, and I can talk about that. It's certainly not going to change your life. But what is active this month is a lot of things in the first or natal vibration. So that's like if you run a chart, that's your natal chart. When we do vibrational charts, they're calculated off of the natal chart and that's what gets us into 5, 7, 8, 9, all the other vibrations and their octaves. So the first vibration is where it all begins because everything is building on that first vibration.
(22:14)
So when we talk about the first vibration, think of it as like identity, basic, fundamental themes that run through a person's life. Raw materials with the building blocks to help you do whatever it is you need to do. So we've got several things that are aspecting for long periods of time because they're slower moving planets and they tend to hang around for an extended period. So let's take a look here and look at the first vibration. And Venus, Saturn and Neptune are all connected and it runs all the way from April 1st through the 30th. So this tone of energy is going to be there in the backdrop for the entire month. How much are you going to experience this? I didn't mention this at the top. I always do. I'm going to mention it here. And that is your mileage will vary, depends on what's going on in your chart.
(23:14)
But because transits that last longer periods of time, they're not as like boom as much like a shebang that just shows up, but it's sort of like that underlying energy that's there. So Venus, Saturn, Neptune, what are we talking about here? This is about commitments in relationships. If that's a thing for you and you're pursuing a relationship, you can feel this desire to be focused on a sincere commitment from the partner who you're with. It may be time to make a decision, is this person meeting me where I am at? Or have we run our course because Saturn takes out anything that's not necessary. Neptune ends up giving us what is magical and idealistic and Venus is what we're attracted to. So when we put everything together, this could be a time where it's like, alright, I want to look at this relationship to make sure that it is dreamy and idealistic.
(24:17)
That's Neptune, that we have this connection, Venus, but Saturn make sure that it's pure and that we're connected at a deeper level, not just superficial, not just with someone who can whine and dine us, but also connect with us at an emotional level. But I hear what some of you are saying out there in my mind, well, I'm not in a relationship and I'm not interested in a relationship. Well, what do I do with this information then? Well, here's the other thing. Venus regulates what we are attracted to our attraction to beauty. So this could be a time where artistic expression really flows out of you because you may be drawn to paint or work with clay or shoot video or photographer or whatever. Okay? So the artistic side of you can come out during the month of April if that's something that you are drawn to.
(25:13)
I can't tell you how many people I speak with who say they quote used to be an artist, and my response to them is, no, you're wrong. And they said, well, what do you mean I'm wrong? Well, once you're an artist, you're always an artist. You may go a little dormant, but you still have that artistic ability. Whether you choose to tap into it obviously is an individual choice, but you'll have that energy to deal with if you want it during the entire month of April, whether it's channeling it toward relationships and really getting down to the underpinnings of what works for you If it's art related, this energy enables you to cut out all the nonsense in the art student artist. And I'm not an artist, so I can't speak critically about anybody because if you saw me draw, it would be really pitiful.
(26:04)
But student artists I've heard just from doing the work that I do, one of their tendencies is to put too much in it, too much drawing, too many lines, too many colors, too many of this, too many of that. The Saturn piece of this venous Saturn, Neptune energy, enables us to parrot back to the essentials. Less is more. And that's the theme of this vibration and what's going on for the month of April. So again, first vibration venous Saturn, Neptune all connected there, and that lingers for pretty much the entire month, which is kind of cool. Alright, so now we need to move forward here and look at yet another vibration, which another planetary configuration still in the first vibration. So remember the definition of the vibration, basic identity, fundamental themes, all those things. That's kind of the wrapper that these following planets are going to be clustered in.
(27:10)
Michael Spremulli (27:10):
So we have Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune all connected in the first vibration. This runs for 25 days, April 1st through the 25th. This is about raising up our standards because remember, Saturn takes out what's not needed. Neptune is what is magical and idealistic for us. So those two planets were the same planets that were involved just a little while ago when we were looking at Venus, but now we're subbing out Venus and subbing in Mercury. So this brings in the ideas and the ability to connect thoughts and ideas and really have a focus on high standards and ethics while this transit is active. So something to keep in mind with Mercury, Saturn, Neptune, and because this is happening for 25 days, you're most likely going to run into this. Your standards may get really, really high. That doesn't mean other people's standards are going to get high.
(28:13)
So what that means is you might end up having your expectations not met from others who may not see the importance of doing things ethically with a high standard, with good work ethic and those types of things. So keep that in mind to help you avoid any type of frustration when you're interacting with someone who may not be viewing it through the exact same lens. By all means, keep your standards high, do what you can. Another thing that could be helpful during this time period is if you're focusing your energy on something related to a spiritual path or helping others, that can flow very nicely during this period because Saturn, Neptune can be spiritual and wanting to get yourself in that idealistic magical environment. And Mercury helps you connect the thoughts to make everything work and fire correctly. So that's what the gist of Mercury Saturn, Neptune is bringing us high standards and really focused abilities to do things the right way, at least the right way from your perspective.
(29:32)
Alright, so we'll show you one little smaller vibration here, and this is in the sixth, which basically is two times three. So not to get all mathy here on you. A three is a trine, which is smooth, free, flowing, creative energy. Two, energy is like an opposition where there's a little friction, but you put the two of them together. But you see, remember when friction happens and I'm rubbing my hands together, that's when action occurs. A fire doesn't start without friction. Friction's not a bad thing. So because we're dealing with this two times three, the overall energy becomes a smooth flow of energy interacting with others rather than leading with the friction. So it's an interchange of either exchanging of ideas, mutual cooperation, some sense of harmony. Still work is involved to get things done. However, you're getting things done through others and you're putting that friction to good use.
(30:35)
Now, this is a very short acting vibration. Five days, April 4th through the ninth, certainly not going to change your life short. Transits don't change your life, they just don't. But they interject some things that you'll feel for a short period, which explains why one day you can feel one way and then you wake up the next day without anything major changing in your life and you feel completely different depending on what energy might be shifting around through the planets. So here are the planets that are involved, Venus, Mars, and Uranus. So we know about Venus traction to beauty. Mars gives us action and makes us want to do something. I was at an astrology conference recently and one of the speakers referenced this, and I love this analogy of Mars being like a slingshot. You pull the slingshot back, you direct it to where it wants to go, you release it, boom, as you release it, that's Mars in action.
(31:28)
It's forward moving energy, making something happen. Now, Uranus breaks us out of the norm and it likes to live in the moment. Uranus is not interested in the past or the future. It's what's happening here right now. So Venus mar, Uranus, you put all three of those together and this could spark in you the desire to maybe be around music, dance, lively environments, sexual feelings may bubble up. It's lively, energetic energy that it's a short cycle, but it's good to be aware of because if you're planning something such as a party or a gathering or a meeting, when you want people to be engaged and motivated, this could be an optimal time to have that happen somewhere through the fourth, through the ninth. Because when you pull all that energy together, you've got Venus, which makes things beautiful. Mars gives you the energy to make something happen, and Uranus is very lively and focuses us here on the moment. It's a time for connecting and celebrating with people. There could be some romantic stuff that happens, but much more than that. It's more of this energy that is captivating and compels us to basically live in the moment and not get focused on the past or the future. Again, that's the sixth vibration. Active from April 4th through April 9th, Venus, Mars, and Uranus all connecting. And that, my friend is what's happening during the month of April. Julia Marie (33:10):
Well, overall, it just sounds to me like I'm not going to be fighting or struggling to keep my head above water in April. It feels to me like I get a chance to make some choices and sort some things out and that I need to focus on following my bliss and not get distracted. Michael Spremulli (33:32):
Get in the flow. Julia Marie (33:33):
Yeah, Michael Spremulli (33:34):
Get in now. Not get in the flow blindly. Like, oh, well, the universe is going to work out. I have no money in my bank account and I have no plans on seeking a job, but the universe will. Not talking about that type of flow you got to put in the work. But yes, you're absolutely correct. It's almost like the first quarter of the year going back from January through March. It's your prep phrase. It's the Meison plus if you're a cooking person where you're doing your cutting of the vegetables and you're getting things lined up, you're not cooking anything yet, but you're getting everything ready. And now we're in April where it's time to start cooking. So start cooking Julia Marie (34:16):
Makes total sense. Michael, I as always appreciate the wisdom you bring to evolving humans. Before we close, I need for you to please tell the people how they can connect with you. Michael Spremulli (34:31):
Sure. So the easiest way is go to blue ridge astrology.com. That's blue ridge astrology.com. If you go there now, I'm actually doing a deep dive because there's a lot more vibrations for your forecast here. I like to give a well-rounded forecast where we're talking about new and full moons that's important and kind of pull all those things together.
