Incredible Orgonite: How to Use the Devices to Enhance Your Life Ep144 | Guest: Spear
In this episode of Evolving Humans, host Julia Marie converses with Spear, a St. Louis shaman and tarot reader with a deep understanding of Orgonite devices.
At the top of the show, Spear shares what his life was like growing up as a sensitive child who didn't understand his intuitive gifts. Spear emphasizes the importance of intuition and trust.
The conversation then shifts to the topic of Orgonite devices, which are energy purifiers that can be used to cleanse spaces and even help with spiritual encounters.
Spear explains how these devices, made from resin, metal, and quartz, work by drawing in energy, tuning it, and releasing it back into the environment.
He encourages listeners to research and create their own Orgonite devices, emphasizing their potential in the New Age community.
The episode concludes with Julia Marie's rapid-fire questions, revealing more about Spear's spiritual journey and interests.

If you've been wondering what all the talk is about organ, I stay tuned to learn more about these powerful spiritual tools that can be used to enhance all areas of your life. Welcome to Evolving Humans, the podcast for Awakening Souls. I'm your host, Julia Marie. Settle in and get ready for another spirited
conversation. We are talking all about Orite devices on today's show. My friend Spear is a St. Louis shaman who does tarot and Oracle readings when he's not working on staff at a local college. Spear also has a deep knowledge of devices and he's going to reveal some of his secrets to making high quality
devices. So stay tuned. Welcome to Evolving Human Sphere. I'm so glad you could be here with me today and I'm looking forward to our conversation.
Spear (01:13):
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Julia Marie (01:15):
So I like to talk about how people find their way onto the spiritual path. Each one of us has a unique journey. So let's start at the beginning of your story. How did this part of your life open up for you?
Spear (01:31):
Boy, I was young when things were happening and I didn't have a name for them and I didn't have any idea really what I was doing and it just sort of naturally came about when I was little. I think the first experience I remember is when I was little and trying to go to sleep and my room is at the end of a
hallway and I can kind of see down it and I kept, we had a visitor and it was a small animal spirit or something and it was kind of climbing up, I guess, where it had known what the landscape was before the house was there. And so it was sort of climbing up like a stream or a little dry stream bed and scared the
bejesus out of me. And the only thing I could think to do was to put a blue bubble of light around me and have it expand and push this thing out of the house and sort of envelop the whole yard and everything out to the street and kept that up.
(02:41):
And that was one of the first times that something like that worked that I thought to do it. And later on you realize, you find out you can shield yourself and you can do all kinds of things like that to sort of keep things at bay. And I don't know if it was harmful or not, but it didn't have a to it, it was almost like
an animal entity. So that was the first time and I had to have been nine years old, seven or nine, somewhere around then. So little stuff like that happening over the years, picking up on stuff right before it happens. And then I want to say right at the end of high school I met a friend and we became friends in
college, junior college, and we sort of quickened each other when we were together, our abilities really fed off each other, I guess.
(03:35):
And one night we were out just driving around talking and she wanted to go by this house that she thought was, she was drawn to or thought was interesting. And we went by and it's just like a cold spot came about in the car and kind of went through us and around and I think we went back by again and it
did the same thing. And as we were driving off talking about it, this is in the middle of night, so there's no cars around country roads back down here where I live. And I started to get this tunnel vision and saw a girl in a dress playing on a driveway and then she starts screaming at me and to stop the car and she said
there were hands, not trying to choke you, but at your neck around your collarbone. I told her what I saw and we got to go back by again because this cold spot's still sort of moving through the car and everything.
(04:31):
And went right back and as soon as we got back it left, went back to the house and I want to say years later, the place had a fire. And when they got in there and tore some walls out, they found human remains in one of the walls. I dunno if it was hers or what sort of message, but it was just something you can't
explain that's not logical or, so that was another one of my big leap forward moments. And then I guess shortly after that is when I was at a friend's house and he opened a drawer to get something out in his bedroom and there was a pack of tarot cards and I was drawn to it for some reason. And he said, if you
want 'em, you can have them. Someone just gave 'em to me. And I said, okay. And I took them and I think we were driving around later on and talking about the tarot deck and who gave them to him.
(05:28):
And I started getting an image of a lady and started telling him what I was seeing and he looked at me gobsmacked and said, that's my aunt who gave me those cards. And I said, wow, I've never done that before either. So from there on, started practicing with friends and family, just tooling around getting a
feel for the cards, learning about that sort of thing went on for 10 before I started taking it more seriously and other people started taking it more seriously. And then it wasn't exchanging for compensation or anything, but it was just, it's like I buckled down a little bit and realized that I was actually helping people
out. And that went on for another 10 years and I was working at a little metaphysical shop and people started asking me, customers were asking me, when do you start doing readings? When do you start doing readings?
(06:26):
And I was like, I'm not comfortable with doing public readings. I'm an amateur. I want to say about six months later, my main job laid me off and it was during the recession and everything, so there was no real jobs. So I was on unemployment and I thought, man, I've got to find something to do. And then just
dawned on me, or either that or a spirit was like, Hey, this is your shake up, wake up. And I went to them and I'm like, can I start doing readings? And they were like, sure, no problem. We've got a spot. Someone left a little bit ago and we've got these days available. And I said, okay. And something about that, taking
it on for compensation seemed to level my readings up by an exponential amount. I dunno how that works out in the universe, but it was interesting to see the quality of information coming through be so much more potent, I guess.
(07:28):
And then I've been doing that ever since, switched decks after about three or four years of using writer weight and some Oracle decks and finally found a deck about the Greek mythology or with Greek mythology images and it really struck a chord with me and that's been my main reading deck since then,
and it's no longer available. Went on a print a couple years ago, so I managed to buy another backup deck just in case. Yeah, I've been doing that. And they had the bounds, the boundaries of the cards were tarot links, three of wands and whatnot. But I'm looking at the images in these cards, it did not make sense. It
didn't correlate with what the original tarot meaning was. So I eventually shaved the orders off and I read them more like an Oracle deck, but it's a standard tarot deck. One of the cards was the tower, which is a pretty big upheaval moment for most people. And the image on the front was Hestia, the goddess of home
and hearth holding a building and walking through a forest. So that doesn't make sense at all with the original tarot meaning. So that's the way I go with those now instead of just doing a, and at the end of readings, I do Oracle talk to information back from them directly if we need to. Some people want to do that more than the reading.
Julia Marie (09:02):
Well, I will say you're one of the people I go to when I need guidance and clarity because the thing I know, no matter how connected we are to spirit, when we're in the middle of a situation, it's really hard for us to see. So it's always helpful. I always recommend that you have at least one person you can count
on to go to help get you some clarity.
Spear (09:30):
And I do that with you. You're one of maybe two people that I go to when I have issues going on that I just can't deal with or figure out or see the big picture.
Julia Marie (09:40):
Well, what I like about what you said about your journey was that for you, you had a unique connection or some kind of a resonance with the matrix or the archetypes of all the gods and the goddesses. And probably somewhere in your past life history, you have a bunch of lifetimes in Greece where you were
connected with that myth or that archetype.
Spear (10:09):
Yeah, arche Arche. I went to a past life clearing person here in St. Louis and that's one of the first things she brought up was she had a very strong life during the Greek period. So ever since I was young, the Greek gods always been very attractive to me and it just resonated with me more than anything else. So
that's also been an experiential path that I keep finding myself on when I thought I could do something else or I thought I should be something else, I always seem to circle back around this stuff. I can't get off the path. There's been several times in my journey where I thought, I'm put it all down. I'm just going to
away. I'm just going to normal muggle and the universe just drop kicked me in the pants and put me back on the path or at least said, Hey, you're still in the path. Just work with it. Instead of trying to put on blinders and not see things.
Julia Marie (11:08):
If you could say anything to yourself when all of this started for you,
Spear (11:16):
Trust your intuition, really, really trust it. Sometimes it's hard to hear, it's hard to link into when you're upset and you're scared and you're angry and you're experiencing a lot of real world things, but it's there.
It's there when you're calm, it's there when you get some peace, when you can get some distance from things. And sometimes that's going through someone else, it's me going to you and saying, can you do this because you've got to pull me out of that muck or out of that electrical static so I can get some clarity.
But yeah, I told myself, trust what you're doing because that's another thing. When I realized I was on a shamanic path that I'd always been on a shamanic path. The book I picked up when I was out of college was in the Shadow of the Shaman by Amber Wolf, and it was literally just getting smacked in the face
reading that it's a cookbook of different things and how to do different things.
(12:11):
But her stories are like, you're on the path. You've always been on the path. Here's the stuff you're doing naturally and intuitively like, oh, I've been doing that the whole time. Oh, I've been doing that the whole time. I didn't understand that these were all connected together. And that was a big wake up call too, that
no matter when I think I'm off path, I'm still up on. Yeah, it's an interesting thing. Trust your intuition, got to go with it. If you can't trust it, then it's like you're buried. You've buried yourself fingers in the ears.
Julia Marie (12:47):
Well, I think the ultimate joke for all of us is going to be no matter how we live our life or how it unfolds for us, we're always on the path and it's the path that we made for ourselves regardless of what that looks like.
Spear (13:01):
And my experience is try not to swim too hard upstream because you're going to wind up where you land no matter what. You're just going to wind up tired or you're going to get there and enjoy the scenery. And I haven't made that mistake so many times where I, I'm going to do this, I'm going to make this happen,
and I paddle upstream so hard and then I wind up right that nice little bank where I'm supposed to be at the end and exhausted and kicking myself for wearing myself out. So yeah,
Julia Marie (13:30):
I think the Borg had it right. Resistance is futile. It really is. It's
Spear (13:37):
Futile. I'm a huge geek. So even anyone else out there laughing, I'm a laughing hard because I'm a huge Star Wars, star Trek, all that stuff. Yeah,
Julia Marie (13:47):
Well I just outed myself. I'm too,
Spear (13:51):
That's funny. The good thing is nowadays it's a lot more acceptable where back when we were younger it was revenge of the nerds and all that stuff, but I'm happily a geek.
Julia Marie (14:02):
I'm loving this conversation that we're having here and thank you for sharing your story with us. And now we're going to get down to what I want to learn more about. And you're the one that introduced me to it.
Okay. I don't even really know what organ I is or what it's all about, but you gave me this thing that looked like a little spaceship and said, oh, put this in your room when you're doing readings, it'll help.
And I was shocked that it did. Let's start at the beginning. What is organ?
Spear (14:39):
Organ is a device that's made out of liquid polymer or resin polyester resin and metal shavings. And a couple years ago, a few people that I worked with were exposed to this and we were like, what is this?
We got to figure this out. Can we make these things really easy? And what's it involved? We spent about three months tinkering around making organi, putting different things in, and came to the realization that it's a composite of 50% metal to 50% polymer. And the best metal that seemed to work, no matter
conductivity or pureness was aluminum shavings. It seemed to ramp up the activity in these things. We did them with silver, we did them with gold flakes, all different kinds of stuff, and they just didn't seem to respond. Even though gold's a great conductor of electrical energy, seemed like it wasn't a good conductor
for spiritual energy.
(15:47):
And some people were worried aluminum, it's bad for you. You don't want to do too much with it, but once it's encased in that polymer resin, really you can't get to it. You would have to shatter these things and cut 'em up to get to it. So it really does its thing. So if you're out buying or looking and you see it's
real pretty and got all kinds of fancy stuff in it, you really keep in mind that it's got to be 50% metal shavings and the shavings are very important. The thinner the shavings the better.
(16:17):
What this basically becomes when you put this together, it's a capacitor, it's a spiritual capacitor. So if you make it right, you can put some crystals and other minerals in it. When the polymer sets, it shrinks a little bit. And when things like quartz crystal are put under pressure, they give off a PAO electric field. And so
if these things are made correctly, they can really suck in energy, tune it up a little bit and then put it back out into the atmosphere. And so it's like smudging constantly. It's constantly doing its thing. If you put a little sunstone and maybeline in it, it doesn't really have to be recharged too much because it's constantly
doing it itself. And they could be as ugly as sin if you're going to put 'em out in your yard and bury 'em. They don't have to be beautiful. They could be little pucks and I didn't bring any down with me to show people if they're going to see them, but you can make some out of mini muffin trays and the ones that I
think I gave you are made out of martini glass. I bought it Goodwill, it's like a, but it's
Julia Marie (17:23):
Not, oh, come on, it looks like a spaceship. It had little feet on it. It looks like a spaceship.
Spear (17:31):
You can lay the polymer and everything down in layers. And copper was another one that did good, but it wasn't the best. It didn't beat out the aluminum. When I make them, they've got a lot more aluminum shavings in than other things I've seen. Little down and dirty ones that just have some quartz crystals in
them, the aluminum shavings and the polymer, and those are what they call holy hand grenades because they can take them out to electrical towers and put 'em down at the base and if you want to bury 'em you find, but if you just throw 'em down and you use just cheap polyester resin, which turns like a brown, it's
what they use to do fix boats with. It turns as brown colors. So it really just blends into the environment.
If you want to make the fancier ones, the generators, which is the ones I make out with martini glasses, I tend to use the clear more expensive resin because you can really see if you're putting nice crystals in and the layers, it all really shows.
(18:30):
But yeah, you can even make jewelry, just make sure that the ratio of metal in them is high. And in jewelry it tends to be copper because it's a lot flashier and the aluminum shavings are kind of rough and a
little too big for some of that. But yeah, anybody can make them. There's plenty of videos on YouTube out there, people making them down and dirty and just slopping them together and they still do their thing. You can even make giant ones in a five gallon bucket with copper tubes and they use them to cloud
bust with to get rid of chemtrails and things. So it's really something, I dunno why it hasn't been in our spiritual zeitgeist. It's been around since the forties and fifties.
Julia Marie (19:16):
That's what I was going to ask you is how long has this technology, that's what it is, it's a technology. How long has it been around?
Spear (19:23):
It's been around in different forms. Before the polyester resin, William Burrows was using these, he was making a little outhouse and putting steel wool and something else, making layers basically. And sitting in these things just sort of cleanses energy and he thought it was dissolving some cancer and taking care
of his addictions. The bad thing is with what he was making, it wasn't cleansing itself and so it was just accumulating all the good, bad and ugly. Our cars are kind of like that because they're plastic and resin, they kind of accumulate stuff, so you got to get something in there to smudge it out or clear it out every
once in a while. Then if you're holding your car together with energy and it's hate and anger, we're going to get to work on this thing and you put an organ piece in there, that's all going to get busted up. So you may have to get your battery changed and things like that. But yeah, I mean been around, it's out there. If
you look for it, you'll see it. And organ was thought to be an energy on a sexual level when it was first sort coined and it wound up being more of a spiritual discovering later on. It was more of a spiritual energy back when it was first tinkered around with, so that's why they're called organ because the German
founder called that energy, organ energy, and so it kind of stuck.
Julia Marie (20:57):
How could I use orite to help my environment? And I will say that before you, well, when you gave me an organ piece, there were actually, I came across other people's organ and it didn't have the same feeling to me. So I'll tell you just in general, not all organ is created equal.
Spear (21:20):
No, it really depends on what's being put into it. And if you're making these on your own, put a little bit of turin in it, put a little sunstone in it, make sure you have your double terminated quartz pieces that need to be about an inch long or smaller depending on your mold. And it needs a little bit of organic material,
like a little piece of cotton or hair or lint from your lint dryer. It just needs a little bit of that mixed in. It doesn't have to be prominent, it doesn't have to be prevalent. And I always like to put a little copper in. It seems like it tunes it a little bit. But yeah, you really have to look at the 50 50 metal to resin, so it's going
to look full. It should look full. And then anything else you put in, it can be used to sort of tune them to either chakras or you can make a set that is tuned to cleansing a house or keeping a house sort of safe, selenite, things like that. And then you can literally use those pucks to grid your living space if you're
making it right. The energy should be sort of pulled in through the bottom and pushed out to the top. And anywhere that's being pushed out, if you put a piece of selenite on top of that, it will direct that energy in both directions. And so I have them around my house at the edge of the house and the selenite is parallel
to the outer wall.
(22:54):
Or if you're griding a whole landscape or a whole property, then you would want them to be parallel to the property lines and just put them either at the corners where one is sort of pointing at the next one across, and then the other ones, it's pointing to the other ones. You're going to try and set up a field where
that energy is sort of coursing through it, hitting all of them. Doesn't have to be precise. You don't have to get a laser pointer and make sure it's exactly marked up, but it has to be generally pushing energy into one puck and that energy is being pushed off into another puck and synchronizing, and that seems to work.
That seems to raise the vibration of the house. It tends to keep it sort of clear and cleansed of anything that might be wanting to try and push its way in or try to come in.
(23:37):
That's not really welcome. It's like putting salt lines on your doors and your windows. It's ramped up and constantly working where the salt may have to be replaced if it melts or cats blow it off or anything like
that where this is, I don't think too many animals mess with them that I've seen in my experience, but they will sit next to cats, especially love to. They won't play with them. They won't knock around. I've noticed.
It's almost like they know their energy purifiers. I'm just going to go sit by the heater. They don't wrap the heater around.
Julia Marie (24:09):
And so does organ have any kind of an effect that you're aware of on EMFs?
Spear (24:18):
Like I said, it tends to draw in the energy from around and then it tunes it up a little bit, so it sort of cleanses it. Especially like I said, if you have Turin and stuff in, it'll knock some that stuff out. Turin in general, near electronics is just the best. You could possibly do a little piece here and there in front of your screen or whatnot, but again, if you have a piece of that in and you put it behind your computer, it's going to draw it off, it's going to suck it in and retune it and then send it back out into the universe a little tweaked up.
Julia Marie (24:47):
So it kind of actually would. So they function more as like a purification device than
Spear (24:54):
A retune. A RET tuner is the closest I can come to it. And some people have found that if you make the organ right, you can place it on spots of pain in the body and it'll temporarily remove that. There's a lady that came up, I had a table outside, had 'em set up and her wife was like, put it on your arm, your arms
hurt, your elbow's hurting. She put it on there and she looked at me, she goes, it just stopped. This thing's been hurting for weeks. And she took it off. She's like, it's back. She put it back on and just flabbergasted that it worked. And that's the first time I had ever seen it remove pain or even thought that it would
remove pain. I don't know what level she was at pain wise, but try it, see if it works. That's all I can say.
Julia Marie (25:39):
Well, I bet if you ever wanted to teach a class on how to make organi, you might get some takers.
Spear (25:46):
I attempted to do it a couple times. The weather has to be right. You don't want to do this inside because the smell is very intense. You want it around 70 to 75 degrees. You don't want it too hot, you don't want it too cold, and it takes time to cure. When it stops smelling, that's when it's done. So make sure you're
mixing up your resin the way it's recommended. If you're doing layers, you don't put as much activator in because it overheats it sometimes and it'll crack. But yeah, I'd suggest anyone, if you want to try it, just going down to, I wouldn't say a hobby store, it tends to be more expensive. I'd go to a Home Depot or a
Lowe's and just pick up polyester resin and I think they have it in the repair. They would do marine repairs and things like that and then just pick up some quarts somewhere, maybe pick up a piece of junk quarts that's kind of messed up and then just take a hammer and smack it apart and then use it when you
want to get more intense.
(26:48):
You can buy double terminated cords and do it. And then we did try to go around and get metal shavings from screw shops, and apparently that was very easy to do before metal prices went up and then everyone's turning it back in. But I just went on to eBay and picked up way too much aluminum shavings,
but it's all clean. There's no dirt or grime on them, but you can pick them up in different amounts and quantities and I don't think it was very expensive. So yeah, just start, play with it. Go outside on a nice day in your driveway where you have plenty of fresh air and mix this stuff up and get a couple molds.
And I would suggest silicone molds are great to pop stuff out. The martini glasses are great. Maybe just put a little bit of silicone lubricant in the bottom so they'll pop out easier. But other than that, just play around with it. You'd be surprised what you make. Just remember 50% and if you think you have too
much metal shavings, you probably don't because once you start putting them in, so it takes a while for the resident to get in all the nooks and crannies. So yeah, anybody could do this. It's simple stuff and I'm just shocked that it's not more prevalent in the new age culture zeitgeist because it works. It's crazy how
well it works.
Julia Marie (28:06):
And that's why I wanted to have you on to talk about this because I'm all about giving people tools that they can use it and really going to help themselves. And I hear a lot from people about wanting to be able
to keep their space clear and keep their property clean and all of this stuff is great and it works.
Spear (28:25):
And if you make 'em right, they can. A friend had something in her house that was not leaving and it was staying in kind of an area, and I gave her one and I said, put this in that area and just let it do its thing.
And the entity eventually left or was tuned up to the point where it didn't need to be here anymore and it was gone. That creepy corner in the basement suddenly was not creepy anymore.
Julia Marie (28:48):
Yeah, it's frequency and it's resonance and that's what these things do.
Spear (28:55):
Yeah, they just tune up. It's not like it's a painful, you're not shooting lasers at stuff. It's just a subtle little transformation device.
Julia Marie (29:04):
Set it and forget it.
Spear (29:05):
Exactly. Exactly, exactly. You don't have to do it on, forget it. Yeah, you don't have to do reiki on it or I mean, you could if you want, but you don't have to. Yeah, it's simple stuff. It's simple. Like I said, that's why I don't get why it hasn't been a bigger part of the new age community and it's been around for 50, 60 years.
Julia Marie (29:25):
Yeah, they're like, that's my kit, my four little hockey pucks you gave me. And then I had my champagne glass that goes everywhere. And I feel like every person who's any kind of energetically sensitive really should look into getting themselves some quality orite.
Spear (29:42):
Look it up online and make it yourself. Make that way exactly what's going into it.
Julia Marie (29:45):
Make yourself That's true too.
Spear (29:46):
You've got your favorite few pieces of crystals or whatever and put them on display and you don't want people touching them. Just put them on some organ and put 'em on the edge. You can see 'em all the time
and they'll do their thing. They'll flavor that organ to be giving out that sort of energy. And I think you can even put images in it as well, like saints or anything like that, but make sure that the image, if it's on paper, make sure it's coated so it's not going to bleed or blur when it gets put in the resin.
Julia Marie (30:17):
The thing that struck me the most when you were talking about it was the fact that the resin shrinks and then the PEI electric quality of quartz. That's the part that fascinates that I hadn't, in all the times we've talked about that, about organ, it never clicked in my head that with the shrinkage, it would almost be like
a constant squeezing of that crystal, which would cause it to send the energy out.
Spear (30:46):
And if you're out looking for the polyester resin, make sure that it's not super fancy where it doesn't shrink because they're making that now for things. It doesn't shrink a whole lot. It's just a little bit, if you're buying the cheap stuff from Home Depot, that's going to shrink. But the company that I've been getting
my clear resin from, they offer now one that doesn't, not shrinking. I'm likes not going to work for me.
Julia Marie (31:13):
That's another tip. Make sure your resin shrinks.
Spear (31:17):
Yeah, so it'll
Julia Marie (31:18):
Activate the crystals.
Spear (31:19):
Right. And also when it shrinks, it pops out of the mold better. If it doesn't shrink, you've got a martini glass with organ in it.
Julia Marie (31:27):
Oh,
Spear (31:28):
Good. You made the break apart with the hammer.
Julia Marie (31:29):
Is there anything else you'd like to say about it in general?
Spear (31:33):
Do some research on it, do some history. Like I said, it's been around since, I want to say the forties. It was a little misunderstood back then because a lot of our spiritual consciousness was sort of compressed down and sort of capped at that time. And through the seventies it sort of blossomed again. And through
the eighties, you can find references in it, references in music about organ from all kinds of people you wouldn't think that would be interested in it, but it's out there. Organ music, organ in music, whatever you want to do. Organ and pop culture, it'll come out. Like I said, William Burrows is one of the bigger ones
that used it all the time, was a big proponent of it. The bad thing is he, it was not cleansing it. They didn't have any quartz crystals in it or anything like that. Didn't have any tramline, I want to say it was like steel wool and wool layers in his walls of his little outhouse building he built. And he would go out there and
sit in that thing all the time. Can't imagine how that thing got just general in Kansas in the, and getting over some stuff and other ailments he seemed to really think it helps with. So go for it, research it, make something up yourself if you want to give it a try.
Julia Marie (32:49):
Well, thank you for sharing that technology with our listeners. Before we tell the people how they can find you, I have five questions I like to ask all of my guests. These are just five rapid fire questions.
There's no right or wrong, whatever pops in your mind. What three words best describe your spiritual journey?
Spear (33:07):
Intuitive, adventurous, shamanic.
Julia Marie (33:12):
What's the one book you always recommend or give as a gift?
Spear (33:16):
I want to say it's in the name of the Rose. I can't think of her name. I've given out to a couple people and it was about her spiritual
Julia Marie (33:25):
Awakening. Rosemary Alt.
Spear (33:26):
Yes. Yes, that's it. Oh my
Julia Marie (33:28):
Goodness. Yeah, I've read it. So it is a good recommendation. Yeah. So as far as your personal spiritual development, what are you working on now? What's next for you?
Spear (33:40):
Probably I keep getting pointed toward mediumship, but I dunno if I'm quite ready for it yet. It still feels like I need to, I'm not quite souffle enough to do it, but I keep getting pointed that direction. People keep coming to me with readings about it and I dunno if I feel comfortable. I dunno if it's listening to intuition,
but I dunno if I'm on the right mental level to really open up for that.
Julia Marie (34:10):
Well, when you're ready. I know a really good teacher.
Spear (34:13):
I do, and we've talked about this before. Something else is going to spur me. The universe will kick me in the pants again and I'll be there. That's how it tends to work
Julia Marie (34:23):
For me. Yep, I get it.
Spear (34:25):
So be ready. I'll be like, I got kicked in the pants. I need a hand.
Julia Marie (34:31):
Well, when it comes to that, I didn't want to be a medium either. And once they know you can hear them, you can run, but you can't hide.
Spear (34:40):
Yeah. I think that's the intimidating part for me is I don't know if I want to be turned on all the time. I tuned in all the time because I don't, I still want to do this experience. I still want to live my life without
Julia Marie (34:54):
Having You're the one in charge.
Spear (34:56):
Yeah. I don't want to be that person. That's the running into people in the supermarket. I've got a message
for you. I want to be,
Julia Marie (35:02):
You're the one in charge. And trust me when I say the spirit world will respect your parameters. So that whole running up to people in the supermarket that's just made for tv, that's not really how it works. They will respect whatever your boundaries are that you choose to set. They'll respect you because they want to
deliver their messages to their loved ones, so they're not going to step over the line. Okay. So just now we're going down a little path, but okay, so what do you do for, that's question number four.
Spear (35:38):
What I do for fun, like I said before, I'm a geek and I have been playing tabletop role playing games for, oh, since I was in seventh grade. So
Julia Marie (35:49):
What's the most important thing you've learned from a spiritual mentor or peer?
Spear (35:54):
I want to say that it never stops that your growth is going to continue regardless of your intent or your attention. It's just a constant learning process, a constant leveling up. And I think it's one thing I haven't done a lot in the past is really celebrate those leveling up points. I haven't sort of set up that Pavlov's dog
response to that. And so when it comes, it's always a shock and then I kind, oh, that's cool. Great. What's next? Or moving on instead of really recognizing you're doing this now you've leveled up. You can't go back to the old version of you. So I think that's the philosophy that I've picked up over the years, that once
you recognize you're on the journey, it's going to be really hard to buffalo yourself to thinking that you're not on the journey because the universe will always come along and smacking the butt
Julia Marie (36:54):
Before we go, because I know you do readings and I know you're excellent, how can they find you?
Spear (37:01):
I have a page on Facebook. It's spear that shimmers spear underline that underlined shimmers, and it's a little logo of Poseidon on the front and green and brown. So I don't think it's too hard to find. And you can
contact me if you're in the St. Louis area. We can do it that way.
Julia Marie (37:18):
I really do appreciate your time. I appreciate everything you've shared.
Spear (37:23):
Thank you very much. I appreciate you too. You're one of the nicer aspects of being in this field is finding really great people and it's not common out there. There's a lot of people that are still struggling through
their things, but it's nice to feel someone's in the same zone with you and you're one of those people that, like I said, I get readings from you too. I appreciate all of your input and everything you're going through because I'm learning through proxy, some of the stuff you're heading off. But really appreciate it. I'm glad
you're in my life.
Julia Marie (37:53):
